Ross Firm takes a "Swing Against Violence" with Weapons of Grass Destruction.

On June 24, 2015, the women of The Ross Firm Professional Corporation participated in Huron Women Shelter's "Swing Against Violence" annual Golf Tournament to raise funds supporting the important work they do in our community for its most vulnerable members. In Huron County the shelter helps countless women and children and they depend on the support of the community each year to continue.

This is the 4th year that The Ross Firm has participated, each year with a "theme" and costumes better than the last! The day is billed as a "fun" day for a good cause and that actually being good at golf is not required (which is a good thing!). We have worn argyle knee socks, "Weapons of Grass Destruction" t-shirts, and sequined hats.

This year eleven of us (lawyers and staff) outfitted in tiaras and sparkly shoes spent a wonderful day "golfing". The pro tour is probably not in our future, but much fun was had and money raised for a great cause in our local community.
