Elli Cohen secures continued appointment as a Director of Blyth 14/19 Inc.

Blyth 14/19 Inc. is a not for profit corporation spearheading a cultural initiative that works in partnership with the Blyth and greater Huron community to identify strategies that will attract and retain youth while creating a self-sustaining cultural hub where a dynamic mix of arts, culture, commerce and education will come together with other community activities and initiatives to provide a vibrant environment in which to live.

Cohen offers his good governance experience, community connections and solid legal understanding to assist this daring cultural endeavour. Assisting with the acquisition and re-purposing of real property, multi-million dollar capital projects, fundraising and regulatory and funding issues, Elli brings to bear his keen mind and drive to see the project through to its successful completion.

As a part of his work on this board, Elli has been appointed to the design committee for the Canadian Centre for Rural Creativity. The CCRC is a multi and cross-disciplinary arts, education and entrepreneurial Centre nestled in the village of Blyth. As a member of the design committee, Elli has a shared responsibility for the re-purposing of the Blyth Public School into the campus of the CCRC.
